This tool can be a real boon to your pet’s health. It allows us to look at the structure of internal organs without invasive procedures. Generally, all that is required is a little bit of shaving.
X-rays are another means of evaluating internal structures. We can see bones best this way, but they can also be invaluable in looking at soft tissue such as heart, lungs, and abdominal organs as well.
Our video-otoscope has been a wonderful tool for use in evaluating and treating a variety of ear diseases in dogs and cats. This instrument allows us to visualize, record, and perform procedures deep in the ear canal while watching the progress in real time. This has provided the opportunity to be much more effective in our treatment of chronic and recurrent ear diseases.
